COUNTS/STEP DESCRIPTION

Cross-step left, rock back, shuffle in place
1-2        Right foot step across left foot (taking weight); rock back on left
3&4       Shuffle in place (right-left-right)

Cross-step right, rock back, shuffle in place
5-6        Left foot step across right foot (taking weight); rock back on right
7&8       Shuffle in place (left-right-left)

Step forward, rock back, 1/2 turn/shuffle in place
9-10       Step forward on right foot; rock back on left
11&12    Shuffle in place (right-left-right), turning 1/2 to the right

Step forward, rock back, 1/2 turn/shuffle in place
13-14     Step forward on left foot; rock back on right
15&16    Shuffle in place (left-right-left), turning 1/2 to the left
(Now facing line of dance again)

Step, pivot, step, pivot
(Release right hands as you begin the pivots. Arms will pass over gentleman on the first pivot, then over the lady on the second pivot)
17-18     Step forward on right foot; pivot 1/2 turn left
19-20     Step forward on right foot; pivot 1/2 turn left
(As you come out of the second pivot, release left hands.)

1/4 turn left and step, left step behind, shuffle right
(As you step into tire 1/4 turn, both will face the center of the dance floor. The gentleman will offer his hands to either side. The lady must grasp his hands from behind)

21-22     Step 1/4 to the left on right foot; step behind right foot with left foot next to right
23          Step right on right foot
&           Step left foot next to right
24          Step right foot 1/4 to the right (toes pointing into the line of dance)

Full turn in 2 counts
(release left hands as you begin the full turn.
NOTE: Right foot remains stationary for this turn.)


25          Using left leg for momentum, pivot 1/2 to the right on right foot and step forward on left
(The gentleman's right arm passes over the lady's head)
26          Complete the full turn, pivoting 1/2 right on both feet
(The lady's right arm passes over the gentleman's head. As the turn is completed the gentleman will pass his arm over the lady's head once more to return to sweetheart position)

Shuffles
27&28    Shuffle forward (left-right-left)
29&30    Shuffle forward (right-left-right)
31&32    Shuffle forward (left-right-left)
