Music: Time Marches On... by: Tracy Lawrence
CHOREOGRAPHERS NOTE: One-wall challenging
beginner-level line dance. Start dance when the artist begins his lyrics - wait 16 beats,
start on 17th beat. Once you've mastered this as a line dance, you may want to try it as a
couples dance by starting in promenade position or another variation to consider is having
two rows of dancers, standing back-to-back, in staggered position. Make sure there is
about four feet of distance between the rows. When you brush your foot forward for Steps
20, 22, 28 and 30, try clicking your heel softly as you brush your foot forward to give
this part of the dance a graceful, marching effect. It sounds awesome when a hall full of
dancers click their heels in unison, especially to this wonderful song!!! Hope you enjoy
this pretty dance as much as we do in Ontario!
